Mixed Media Art “Winged Life” by Lisa Longworth

I just discovered a wing had fallen off one of my paintings this morning.  Glue gun to the rescue! (See right photo)

Life thinks the same everywhere, I believe.  Mirrors mirroring everything for us to see ourselves and life more clearly.

So, what does the wing falling off my art work mirror for me today? In the close-up of my work of art, (See left photo), the William Blake poem speaks to me of non-attachment and the flight of freedom that comes from “kissing joy as it flies”.

So, I have given myself the freedom to write 2 blogs this morning. Also, for me, this means I keep care taking for my environment and glue things back together when necessary.

Art and Life, One.  Loving it all!

Have fun and keep in touch.

Do you hear those little whispers from within? The ones that inspire you to call a friend that you haven’t thought of for ages, or take a turn in a different direction of a project you are working on? Almost every time I wake up, there is a whisper telling me something.  I love it.

Is it the subconscious or our intuition whispering to us?  Can we trust these messages?

Yes, we can trust these messages. I believe they come from our imagination and are essential in living an alive creative life.

Picasso said,      “Everything you can imagine is real.”

Keep listening to your imagination and intuition.  Exercise your creative muscles everyday.
Have fun!
